WHO WE ARE

The Women's Business Center of Kentucky is a U.S. Small Business Administration program hosted by Community Ventures Corporation.  It is one of nearly 100 education centers across the nation designed to assist women starting and grow their businesses.  WBCs operate with the mission to 'level the playing field' for women entrepreneurs who still face unique obstacles in the world of business.

The WBC of Kentucky opened its doors in April 2011.  We are committed to developing leadership, independence and entrepreneurship for the Women of Kentucky.  We empower women with the tools to make formal and informal decisions about business ownerships through training, business coaching, networking, mentoring, technical assistance and course development.

First Friday Women's Roundtable

The Women's Business Center of Kentucky and the US Small Business Administration, through a cooperative agreement, hosts the monthly First Friday Women's Roundtable.  The goal of the Roundtable is to create a forum for women small businesses to discuss topics concerning procurement, financial resources, marketing opportunities, success stories, daily issues, and networking opportunities.

The Roundtable is on the first Friday of the month at 8:30am.  The Roundtable moves around our community so that we can get to know each other.  For this month's location information, please call 502-566-6076 x 104.  This session is free and open to the public.
