This 4-week course is designed for those individuals who have a specific business idea in mind as the course will cover the basics of how to research a potential business opportunity and write a business plan. You MUST attend Business Basics Workshop to be eligible for the Jumpstart Loan. This course is $10-$50 (adjusted based on household income) and is held in Lexington every month beginning in January.

This class will be a time for clients to learn about the services CVC offers and upcoming classes.The class will also discuss the basic concepts of entrepreneurship, choosing the right business and starting a business.  This class is FREE and is held in Lexington on the first Tuesday of each month. 

CVC’s stair-step approach to small business development provides assistance to entrepreneurs in all stages of development who are unable to secure business training and lending through traditional sources.  Training is provided through both classroom and individual technical assistance.
