Public Notice
To all interested citizens of Fayette and Franklin Counties, Kentucky:
The U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is accepting proposals for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP-2) funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, February, 2009. Community Ventures Corporation intends to apply to the Kentucky Department for Local Government for assistance to address foreclosed or abandoned properties located in applicable Census tracts identified by HUD in the above-named counties. Community Ventures is seeking to obtain views on housing and community development needs, the proposed activities in the proposal, and solicit public comments.
The following information concerning the NSP-2 Proposal is available for public inspection during normal business hours:
- o Overview of proposed statewide activities
- o Overview and requests amounts for targeted area
- o Eligibility Map of Census Tracts in Fayette and Franklin County

Comments on Application
A copy of the NSP-2 proposal will be available at both Community Ventures Corporation Offices (as listed above) for citizens' review and comment, as well as at http://www.cvcky.org/ during regular business hours from June 30, 2009 through July 10, 2009. Comments on the proposal may be submitted in writing to the attention of Maria Hendrichs at mhendrichs@cvcky.org until July 10, 2009.
